Kokoda Historical has a particular focus on the education and commemoration of the Kokoda Campaign.

Our group booking prices*  for 2023/24 to trek Kokoda on our 11 day package are:

We offer a competitive rate for group bookings along with assistance in getting your group off the ground. We understand that sometimes it is hard for people to commit and to fund their trip. We have assisted many groups over the years with initiatives to fundraise.

For schools we offer a fantastic package which includes outdoor training along with history presentations in the classroom. David Howell the director of Kokoda Historical has worked in educating school children on the significance of Australian service and sacrifice in times of war and on peacekeeping operations at the Shrine of Remembrance, the National War Memorial of Victoria.

Our classroom visits include a Kokoda kit-bag where students get to examine the equipment and uniforms used by both sides during the Kokoda Campaign. Students will be able to explore the Second World War campaign in Papua New Guinea.

Our school package includes an introduction pack for the teachers and tasks for the students. Students will build upon their knowledge in the lead up to undertaking their trek so as to deliver oral presentations at key locations along the Kokoda Track. Students will also receive a pack which contains material from the Department of Veterans Affairs education resource and is designed to meet the key requirements of the school curriculum of Australia history in the Second World War.
