No matter which trek you choose, it will be a most memorable experience as we immerse ourselves in the history and culture of Papua New Guinea (PNG). In Port Moresby, you will stay at the luxurious Hilton Hotel, ensuring comfort before and after your trek.

Our journey includes visits to all the major battlefields along the Kokoda Track, such as Isurava, Eora Creek, and Brigade Hill. You will also explore Lake Myola and make side trips that many other treks miss out on.

For Group 1, after attending the official Dawn Service at Bomana War Cemetery, we will enjoy lunch at the Royal Port Moresby Yacht Club. Group 2 will begin their trek from Owers’ Corner and attend the Dawn Service at the Isurava Battlefield.

It is one thing to simply tick the Kokoda Track off a bucket list, but it is another to undertake a pilgrimage that immerses you in our proud wartime history. The rugged terrain of the PNG jungle sets the stage for master storytellers to bring the voices of our ancestors to life.

Kokoda Historical has over 18 years of experience trekking PNG battlefields, interviewing veterans, and serving in the Australian Defence Force. Our treks are designed to honor the sacrifices of Australian soldiers while providing a meaningful historical experience.

So, pack up your troubles in your old kit bag and join us on our ANZAC Day 2025 pilgrimage over the Kokoda Track. This journey will leave you with a deeper appreciation for Australia's wartime legacy and an unforgettable connection to history.
