Recently David returned from Cairns after visiting Soc Kienzle the son of Bert Kienzle (Architect of Kokoda). With the help of Soc and his father's unique archive, work is underway to complete a new map of Kokoda. Mr Paul Konings, a senior researcher the National Centre for Geographic & Resource Analysis, ANU, has surveyed and created a map of the Kokoda corridor. Information on place names and wartime routes are currently being added. The map will be available in 2016.
