Early this morning the group travelled from Kokoda through the villages of Oivi and Gorari to the town of Popondetta. After stocking up on supplies they continued their journey to Gona where they boarded boats for the beachside village of Sanananda. They received a wonderful welcome dance from all the villagers of Sanananda - what a stunning start to their adventure at the beachheads. They ended thir evening with a fabulous banquet in the beach dining hut only metres from the beautiful Solomon Sea.

All are well and are enjoying the warm hospitality of the Sanananda people.
