Today Wayne's group had an early start to get to the airport for their flight to Popondetta. On arrival at Popondetta they transferred to Kokoda by vehichle. They received a warm traditional welcome ceremony on arrival at Kokoda.

They spent the afternoon touring the Kokoda Bert Kienzle museum and the memorials at the Kokoda Plateau.

The ladies of our guides families are cooking up a wonderful fresh banquet for the group tonight. Everyone is excited about the adventure that lies ahead of them.
