Today Greg and his group set out for the start of their Shaggy Ridge trek. They drove for over 5 hours from the town centre of Lae on the Okuk National Highway towards, the Highlands and Madang. 

On the way they passed Heath's Plantation at 9 Mile and NADZAB airport as they drove through the Markham Valley. The group had a wonderful experience visiting the Ramu Market befor driving to Onge village and then on to Aginau Village where they are staying tonight.
