Day 1 we kicked off our adventure with an epic helicopter ride, touching down on the Kokoda Plateau. The breathtaking views from above the Owen Stanley ranges were mind-blowing!

We then paid our respects to the brave soldiers who fought in the Kokoda Campaign by visiting the Kokoda Museum and Memorial. It was a humbling experience that deepened our appreciation for the sacrifices of the Australians and Papuans.

Now, the real adventure begins! We have officially started trekking the historic Kokoda Track, following in the footsteps of those who came before us.

Along the way, we had the privilege of visiting the villages of the Kovelo and Hoi villages. As the sun sets, we have set up camp at Deniki, surrounded by the serene beauty of nature. The campfire is crackling, and we have had a hearty well-earned meal.

This journey is not just about physical endurance but also about embracing the rich history of this land. We are truly privileged to be a part of this incredible adventure!
