I had a fantastic trek to Shaggy Ridge. Reg was amazing and I will always think of him as being "a walking history book". We certainly received a real insight of what it must have been like for the Diggers out there in the jungle because of his depth of knowledge and understanding of the battle.

The porters were great too. They would frequently disappear into the jungle and return with some piece of war related equipment for us to see and touch which really added to the experience. After we were done, they then returned the precious items to their secret location.
