I just wanted to say thankyou for one of the best experiences I've ever had.

Honestly, winning the Harold Bould/Wilma Young scholarship was such a pleasure and I honestly couldn't be more grateful to Alan who arranged the award on this end but also to you who is the reason this award happened in the first place. The work you do not only on the Kokoda track, but in running the award gave not only myself, but many young people before me the chance of a lifetime to go and experience such deep and rich culture and history on the track.

Thankyou also for running an amazing experience with Kokoda historical. It is truly a journey I will remember for the rest of my lifetime, not only because of the growth that I gained or the amount of fun/challenge it was, but also because of the pride I felt in honouring the diggers, which I'm sure you truly understand how special and momentous it is.

I also wanted to touch on the how amazing Ben and the boys were on our journey. You should be really pleased and proud at the callabour of porters you employ because I have nothing bad to say. They honestly made my trip so beyond what I expected, sharing bonds and stories that only a trip like this can foster, but their generosity and care towards all of us was truly amazing. (if you get a chance to, you should tell Ben that our group has been messaging about this and we're all really grateful to him and the boys!)

I'm actually really lucky as now through this experience, it's helped me grow as a leader and now I've been asked by my connections at local sporting clubs, as well as the Richmond FC staff to come in and speak about my journey and about overcoming challenges along the way.

So once again, thankyou! I'm beyond grateful to you and the crew for this wonderful experience.
