We started nervously taking our picture at the departures entrance at Sydney International Terminal, in our matching Kokoda Historical Tour shirts and hiking boots resembling honeymooners rather than budding trekkers preparing for a trip of a lifetime.

A trip of a lifetime was exactly what we got; the people of PNG the staff of Kokoda Historical were fantastic. Our porters had a great sense of care and consideration for us and helped us every step of the way.

People have since asked us, how we would describe the experience of the Kokoda Trek. My response it is the most satisfying Physical, Mental, Emotional, and Spiritual thing that you will ever do in your life, and oh "Expect the Unexpected".

We would like to thank Kokoda Historical for the opportunity to complete the Kokoda Trek. Both of us had the experience of a lifetime.
