In early 1942 Rabaul and Singapore had fallen to Japan. The Australian 8th Division was lost and the Japanese advance seemed unstoppable. 'He's Coming South' was the cry! The battles fought in the Australian territory of Papua have become some of the most important in our history.
This coming Anzac Day, join historian David Howell as we visit the key Second World War battlefields in Papua. There will be no trekking involved as we visit; Port Moresby, Owers' Corner, Kokoda, Buna, Gona, Sanananda & Milne Bay.
