Lark Force Trek
Join us on this amazing PNG adventure retracing the steps of Lark Force. We will pay homage to the men of Lark Force, mostly men from the 2/22nd Battalion, 1400 Australian soldiers who went to Rabaul in 1941 to fight the Japanese.
Black Cat Trek
Our Black Cat Track Tour comprises a 12 day package (including 2 days travel to and from Papua New Guinea) with a 6 day trek from Wau to Salamaua and visits to Second World War battlefields en route, 2 days fishing/snorkeling at Salamaua and 2 days at Lae before flying home.
ANMEF & Rabaul Tour
Join this 7 day (6 night), fully guided tour of the Rabaul battlefields as both the events of the First and Second World War is brought to life. You will participate in the official commemorations & attend the commemorative service at Bita Paka War Cemetery. This trip will also visit the many sites pertaining to the action of Bita Paka, Australia’s first action during the First World War.
ANZAC Day 2018 Milne Bay, Kokoda & Northern Beachheads Tour
This non-trekking tour will visit many of the important Second World War battlefields in Papua. Many areas are visited using air conditioned buses with only a small amount of walking. Join historian David Howell as he uses his extensive knowledge and enthusiasm to bring the events of 1942 to life!

The Australian D-Day Experience 2018
6 June 1944 and the combined Allied forces undertook an invasion of occupied France. Operation Overlord was the code name for the assault on the Normandy beaches which marked the start of the campaign. More than 3000 Australians participated in what is considered to be the greatest campaign in all of military history. Come with us as we explore the famous D-Day battlefields and highlight the service and sacrifice of the Australians that served in the ultimate fight for freedom.
Battle of the northern beachheads (Non-Trekking)
The Australian victories at Milne Bay and on the Kokoda Track destroyed the Japanese plans for capturing Port Moresby. However 9,000 Japanese remained entrenched in the eminently defensible northern beachheads of Buna, Gona and Sanananda.
Special RVR Association Trek
Kokoda Historical are honoured to be able to assist the RVR Association this year with the Pompey Elliott Scholarship. Which will see three NCO's from the Royal Victoria Regiment trek Kokoda in 2017. We are offing a special discounted price to serving members of the Royal Victoria Regiment, their friends and family.
