Join historian David Howell from Kokoda Historical, for a free training session and history talk at the Kokoda Memorial Walk, Ferntree Gully. This training session will be very moderate and a good chance to meet other likeminded people in a fun and friendly atmosphere. David wrote many of the plaques that are located along the walk, including the replica Kokoda Memorial at One Tree Hill. David will tell some great Australian yarns about the service and sacrifice of those who fought on the Kokoda Track as we visit the various memorial plaques & monuments that are within the walkway. This will be an easy walk designed to be fun, informative and relaxed. The session is open to everyone and you will have the opportunity to ask David questions not only about trekking but about the history of Kokoda.
